System Restore Tab Missing in XP


Click Start, Run and type "regedit" and press Enter.

Navigate to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SystemRestore


In the right-pane:

Delete the value of DisableConfig or make it '0' (If there Any).

Delete the value of DisableSR or make it '0' (If there Any).


Another Way


Write the Command below in a notepad.

Change the extention *.txt to *.reg.

Save It.

Press Right Click on it and 'Merge' it.
